Parody Writing
In the late 1990s, when I was an active member of the James Horner Shrine community, several silly threads gave way to some wacky improvised writing, some of which I saved and present below.

Below are short humorous blurbs based off theatrical works and anime fandoms.
Haleth (A Lord of the Rings parody)
Hobson's Joke (A parody of Harold Brighouse's play 'Hobson's Choice')
There Once Was a Merchant from Venice, Whose Body Was Shaped like a... (A parody of Shakespeare's 'The Merchant of Venice')

Parody Doodles
Here are some Star Wars jokes that I drew around 1995. Drawn very feverishly, with no real attention for aesthetics, they're meant to be funny scribbles, not works of art. Also, for no apparant reason, I wound up writing some in French, entirely or in part. Those are indicated by (F).

Around the time I first started hosting MusicalOtaku, I figured doodling caricaturized versions of my favourite composers might be amusing. It was, but I didn't have the time or motivation to keep doing it as a running series. A couple of strips did come out of it though, as well as all the James Horner icons that remain on the site to this day.

Talking Super Heroes
Not every piece of fanart I've produced was serious and gloomy. Here's the goofier side of my drawing hand. Certainly, the source of inspiration for some of these is lost to some ancient inside joke that will likely be cryptic when taken out of context, but they can still give a chuckle for their sheer randomness value.
