In the mid-to-late 1980s, loyalty to a video game console company still counted for something. Around age 10, when the world of video games started dazzling and attracting me, it was Nintendo that first grabbed me. I've been loyal to the Plumber ever since. The first time I ever bought a non-Nintendo system was in 2005, for the sole purpose of playing DDR, only available on PS2. I felt like a traitor. I consider that the golden years of gaming was the 16-bit era. It'll never get that good ever again. It was also the culmination of my intense gaming years. After that, life in general started sapping gaming time away from me, and I've been severily backlogged ever since, with many games sitting on my shelves waiting to be played. My claim to fame (for which I sadly have no witness) was to finish the NES game Life Force without losing a single life. Another object of pride is my collection of every single Castlevania games ever released on a Nintendo system.

My Favourite Video Games
Here is a shrine to my favourite video and PC games or series. Below that is my exposé on the famous 1980s actors Konami boxes lookalike conspiracy, followed by my own highschool Diplodocus PC games.

Konami Look-alikes
Have you ever noticed that the box cover art of certain NES Konami games featured characters bearing a striking resemblance to famous 1980s actors? See for yourself. And if you discover any more, let me know. I'm still trying to fudge a likeness between Chuck Norris and the little Twinbee thing.
