Jeremiah Gottwald VERSION 02 I originally completely forgot this, but the forearm blade actually came after the fact. I didn't have it at the costume's unveil at Nekocon, but I had it at Anime USA. So I copied & pasted this paragraph from the original Version 01 to make this Version 02: Yet more of my recent spring-loaded expertise. My first attempt was something that worked, but was so huge, with a full frame and housing, that it had no chance whatsoever at fitting under my sleeve. I kept stripping pieces off the frame until there was virtually nothing holding the blade against my arm but the sleeve itself (talk about turning an impediment into a facilitator). I also glued a white elastic piece to go across the palm of my hand. I made another attempt at gesso to smoothen the apparatus, then painted it. For the green jewel at the top I just hot-glued something from an old, old pack of craft jewels from my Aburatsubo days. - J-F Bibeau
